IOP offers comprehensive, coordinated services that address a variety of needs, including, but not limited to, situational stressors, family relations, interpersonal relationships, mental health issues, life span issues, psychiatric illnesses and addictions. The program was designed for people who are having difficulty functioning in their daily lives.
IOP provides intensive individual, family and group therapies, reducing symptoms and preventing functional decline, as well as eliminating the need for more inpatient treatment. A step-down service after hospitalization, partial hospitalization or residential care, this level of care empowers clients to develop dignity, build character and transform dysfunctional behaviors into positive life skills.

IOP groups work to:

  • Maintain treatment gains
  • Develop new coping skills
  • Develop strategies to improve mood, relationships, academic and career goals
  • Create a “life worth living”
  • Develop techniques to handle conflicts, dilemmas and relationship problems
  • Stress management
  • Personal growth

Intensive outpatient services are offered three times each week for three hours of clinical therapy, with patients choosing the three days they want to attend.
